LAURA MARTINOVIĆ
Laura Martinović was born in Zagreb in 1993. She completed the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb in 2012, and she enrolled the Academy of Fine Arts in Zagreb the same year. She got the title MA, mag. art.,graduated at the Academy of Fine Arts in September 2017, and before that BA in Graphic Arts. She also participated in student exchange by studying one semester at Ulster University in Belfast, United Kingdom on department of illustration and photography in 2015. Since December 2017 until August 2018 she has been living and doing professional practice at the private Art School Metafora in Barcelona, Spain as an illustrator and video and animation artist. The most recent solo exhibitions were in the SC gallery in March 2019 with the work of the Path of the dress, and the Dictionary of Catalan and Spanish interpretations in the CEKAO Gallery in June 2019. Also, in June 2019 she had a group exhibition at the Arte Aurora Gallery in Barcelona, Spain named Futura with her floor mural artwork. Lately she is working more with experimental and 2d animation and since September 2019 she’s collaborating with Adriatic studio in Zagreb as animation artist.
