MARGARETA PERŠIĆ
Margareta Peršić was born in Zagreb in 1976. In 2000 she graduated from the Faculty of Teacher Education, University of Zagreb, with the thesis Story, Picture, Picture Book. She has been actively engaged in using colours as a means of her artistic expression, toys and puppets design, juggling, storytelling and interior design for the last twenty years. Margareta has participated in numerous pedagogical projects in Croatia and abroad and she has also run different puppetry, drama and art workshops. She is a member of the Croatian Association of Artists of Applied Arts – Section for Toys and Puppets Design as well as Section for Applied Painting, Illustration, Cartoon, Comic Book and Animated Film. Margareta Peršić has been a member of the Croatian Freelance Artists’ Association since 2010 and she is also a member of the Croatian Centre for Drama Education. She has had eighteen solo exhibitions and has participated in about sixty group exhibitions. In 2017 she graduated from the Research Institute for Waldorf Education in Zagreb.
