IVA VALENTIĆ
Iva Valentić got her degree in painting at the School of Applied Arts and Design in Zagreb. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, Italy, having specialized in oil painting mentored by professor Carmelo Zotti. In 1997 she won the fellowship for the specialization in Chinese calligraphy at the Central Academy of Fine Arts in Beijing, where she studied for two years, with professor Wang Yong as the main mentor. She participated at the numerous group exhibitions and held many personal exhibitions. For Mala zvona editing house she illustrated The Scent of Japanese Incense by Lafcadio Hearn; In a Sound World by Victor Segalen and Claude Debussy; + The Colour of Water: Mediterranean By Sanja Lovrenčić.
